The audit provides support that Opera’s free browser VPN adheres to a strict no-log policy, with no storage or logging of user data.
Privacy and trust are rapidly becoming key factors in users’ choice of online products and services. Opera has recognized this for a long time, bringing first to market built-in privacy features that help users protect themselves online. By reviewing Opera’s VPN infrastructure and performing a thorough review of the controls in place and the technical configuration of the system and infrastructure, as well as a review of Opera’s internal documentation, policies and procedures, the audit firm was able to confirm that they did not identify any instances of non-compliance with Opera’s stated no-log policy.
