Opera Software today announced availability ofthe Opera 9 SDK for Devices running on the Microsoft Windows CE platform,broadening Opera’s availability to include the popular device softwareplatform. Devices running on Windows CE can now quickly integrate the fast andfull-featured Opera browser to deliver the full Internet or to create Webapplications, widgets and dynamic user interfaces.
Opera’s advanced Web rendering and navigation technologies enable the Web to bedynamically adapted to deliver a fantastic user experience to a wide range ofdevice types. With Opera’s existing port and integration API for MicrosoftWindows CE, device manufacturers can quickly and easily get Opera up andrunning on devices ranging from portable media players and remote controls toset-top boxes and automotive infotainment systems.
