Opera Software today released version 6.30 for Sony Ericsson’s P900, enhancing featuresand functionality to the popular full-Internet navigation of this handset. Opera’s upgradedand free download is available on both company’s Web sites. Since its first release one year ago,hundreds of thousands of users have downloaded and installed Opera on their phones.
New features include improved Small-Screen Renderingâ„¢ (SSR),scalable fonts, smooth zooming, and an added Internet search. SSR is the reformatting technologythat makes the Web user-friendly on small mobile screens by eliminating the need for horizontalscrolling. The improvements to SSR with version 6.30 are specific to rendering framesand numerical tables.
