Companies Form Strategic Partnership to Bring Yahoo! Search to Millions ofConsumers Using Opera Browsers for Mobile Phones

Opera Software (OSE: OPERA) and Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) today announced a new strategic partnership forwhich Opera has named Yahoo! as the exclusive provider of mobile search onits millions of Web browsers for mobile phones, Opera Miniâ„¢ and OperaMobileâ„¢, across more than 100 countries worldwide. Opera will launch thenew Yahoo! oneSearchâ„¢ when it goes live globally later in Q1 2007.
Yahoo! oneSearchâ„¢ is a completely new mobile search service designed togive consumers what they want when they are on their mobile phone -instant answers. The service recognizes the intent of a search term andpresents relevant content – not just a list of web links to PC sites – onthe results page. Results are grouped by subject making it easy to readthrough and drill down to get more details.
This new relationship showcases Yahoo!´s successful focus on building andmonetizing innovative mobile services and working with key partners todistribute them broadly to consumers. Yahoo! and Opera have agreed toexclusively work together to explore bringing mobile advertising into theOpera Mobile browser.

Opera will deliver Yahoo! Opera and Yahoo! will also jointly market the availability ofYahoo! Search on Opera Mobile to help drive consumer awareness and usage.
