Opera Software, the only company to put the Web on any device, today announced that the Opera Mobile browser ships on the latest SOFTBANK MOBILE smartphone, Softbank X01T, in Japan. Softbank X01T is powered by Windows Mobile 6 and is deployed by one of Japan’s leading 3G operators, Softbank. Opera Mobile 8.65 for Windows Mobile provides users with a powerful Web experience.
As more information and applications are becoming available on the Web, users want to have access to their preferred content anytime, anywhere. Opera Mobile 8.65 for Windows Mobile allows users to access all of their favorite Web sites and supports Ajax-enabled Web applications, such as maps, calendars and e-mail. Softbank X01T owners will be able to perform all of their Web interactivity on-the-go, including social networking on any online community.
Softbank X01T users are able to run Opera Mobile using their high-speed network HSDPA or Wi-Fi. Softbank X01T includes original security features such as a fingerprint sensor and timed auto lock.
