Fame, glory and honor… Join Opera’s battle for the best Opera Unite application

2009 – It is time to put your game face on. Opera is calling on creative developers everywhere to try their hand at the latest challenge on My Opera: the weekly battle for the best Opera Unite application. With prizes awarded each week, along with the international glory of being featured on My Opera, participants now have an opportunity to share their talents with the community at-large.

 

“There are a lot of talented developers who are looking for ways to share their work. Opera Unite is out in beta, and we are ready to invite developers to submit new Web applications,” said Espen Andre Øverdahl, Community Manager, Opera Software. “This new My Opera challenge puts a spotlight on the creative people who work hard to make Opera Unite applications more fun, more useful and simply better designed.”

 

To submit an Opera Unite application of your creation, simply sign in to your My Opera account, and upload your work. You must be a member of My Opera to participate; membership is free and there is never a charge when using My Opera services.

 

Prizes will be awarded each week to the developer with the best Opera Unite application. The winner will be determined by a team of Opera employees. Up for grabs are gift certificates equal the value of Nintendo Wiis and mobile phones.
