Opera expands in massive China TV market with Konka

Opera kits out Konka with full suite of TV solutions

Opera Software and Konka, a leading TV manufacturer in China, today announced that the Opera TV Store app platform, Opera TV browser and Opera Devices Software Development Kit (SDK) have now landed on Konka’s newest Smart TV.

Konka is the latest manufacturer to bring the complete series of Opera’s TV web products on board, offering a truly connected experience to its TV viewers.

Opera’s full suite of products enables Konka viewers to surf the web right from their TV screens with the Opera browser, as well as gaining to access hundreds of entertaining apps in the HTML5-based Opera TV Store.

Opera will power the web services on Konka Smart TV models that will launch first in Brazil in late 2013.
