TIGO Guatemala tailors Opera Mini in offering the Web to subscribers

Making further headway in Latin America, Opera Software today announced that Comunicaciones Celulares S.A. (COMCEL), a subsidiary of Millicom Corporation under the TIGO brand, will deliver a tailored version of Opera Mini to subscribers in Guatemala.

TIGO Guatemala will now preinstall select handsets with Opera Mini, as well as enable users to download the customized mobile Web browser over the air from mini.opera.com/tigogt and operamini.com on their network. Opera Mini for TIGO Guatemala will feature Spanish menus and customized bookmarks.

Opera Mini for TIGO Guatemala is localized to the enhance the region’s mobile browsing experience. Subscribers will be able to access TIGO’s content portals with one click as well as popularly visited sites such as hi5.com, facebook.com, marca.com, prensalibre.com and elperiodico.com.gt.
